Protestant University of Applied Sciences Berlin (Evangelische Hochschule Berlin, EHB) is a church-run, state-recognised university of applied sciences in Berlin. It prepares students for professional careers in social work, health and nursing, education, and related community and church contexts. The university offers practice-oriented bachelor’s and master’s programmes that combine academic foundations with internships, projects, and close collaboration with professional partners, including organisations in social services, healthcare, diakonia, and the Protestant church. EHB traces its roots back to early 20th-century training in social work and today serves a compact campus community with strong support for applied research and international cooperation.
