We know how overwhelming the German education system can feel from the outside. We’ve been there. Kursa is our way of making it easier for you.
Andreas and Jakob met at university while studying abroad. They both know what it’s like to apply to a foreign university — the research, the paperwork, the uncertainty. They made it work, but it wasn’t straightforward.
After university, life and work took them to different corners of the world — across Europe, Africa, and Latin America. They learned to adapt to new cultures, new languages, and new ways of doing things. Along the way, friends, family, and colleagues who wanted to study in Germany kept asking for help. How does the system work? What are the requirements? Where do I even begin? Having been through it themselves, Andreas and Jakob understood both sides — what it feels like to come from abroad, and how the German university system actually works.
After helping people one by one for years, the next step felt obvious. In 2025, they started Kursa — to give every student the clarity and guidance they used to share over coffee.
This isn’t just a platform — it’s personal. We want every student to turn their ambition into a real start in Germany.
Studying in Germany should be accessible to everyone, not just those who already know the system.
Applications, deadlines, documents — we take the confusion out so you can focus on what matters.
Studying abroad isn’t just about a degree. It’s about cultures meeting, perspectives growing, and lives changing — on both sides.
