Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University

About

The Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg (DHBW) is a public cooperative state university and the largest higher education institution in Baden-Württemberg by student numbers. It operates across nine campuses throughout the state, offering exclusively dual study programmes that alternate between academic theory on campus and practical training at a partner company in roughly three-month cycles. Students sign a contract with a partner organisation and receive a salary throughout their studies. Programmes cover business, engineering, social work, and healthcare, leading to Bachelor's degrees with 210 ECTS in six semesters. Dual Master's programmes are offered through the DHBW Center for Advanced Studies in Heilbronn.
