["The programme covers the fields of linguistics, literary studies and cultural studies, as well as academic English. Students develop an advanced understanding of the language, literatures and cultures of the English-speaking world, focussing particularly on Great Britain, North America and the post-colonial anglophone regions. They learn to identify relevant research questions and methods and are able to engage independently with linguistic, literary and cultural topics.
