["The Master's programme in German Studies with Binational Option at the University of Kassel offers a unique opportunity to experience the German language, literature and culture from a new, international perspective. Students deal with questions of cultural studies and consider language and literature in a European context. The research traditions and methods of both countries will be compared and reflected upon and in Szeged there is a special focus on Austrian literature and culture, which offers students a wide range of cultural and literary insights.The Master's programme lasts four semesters and leads to a double degree, which means that graduates receive certificates from both universities.
