["The double-degree programme is integrated into the existing Master's degree programmes at PUCP and TU Ilmenau (Technische Universität Ilmenau). The double-degree programme offers students the opportunity to gain international experience and intercultural competence, qualifying them for a future career in the ever more interconnected field of engineering.The partner university offers students an alternative elective area of specialisation that extends beyond what is offered at their home university. The programme also gives students the opportunity to complete the Master's thesis over a one-year period. This extended mode, with the same scope, significantly enhances the completion of experimental theses. The two-semester stay at the partner university, as provided in the double-degree programme, enables students to attend nearly all relevant courses at the partner institution.The minimum length of stay in the partner country is one semester."]
