About this course

["The CCCE Master of Science (MSc) degree programme provides students with established theoretical and advanced application-oriented knowledge in the areas of "Control Engineering, Computer Engineering and Communications Engineering" (CCCE). Graduates are prepared for advanced roles in cutting-edge engineering sectors, leading positions in industrial companies and research institutions. It can also be the basis for a further scientific qualification such as a PhD.Due to the international character of the study programme, including increased intercultural skills, the graduates are well prepared for work in internationally operating companies. English is the language of instruction. The special profile and unique feature of the degree programme is the concentration on synergies of different areas of electrical, information and communication technologies, with a special focus on the development of safety-critical, networked and intelligent electrical systems. Such systems are subject to special requirements in terms of sensors and actuators, communication technology and protocols, control and signal processing as well as computing performance and safety, taking into account time and energy restrictions. The degree programme offers an international, future-oriented and interdisciplinary approach, conveying scientifically established concepts, methods and techniques. This enables students to solve complex, interdisciplinary problems in an international and intercultural environment and equips graduates with the skills to develop novel products and services in this interdisciplinary context.During their studies, students can choose their own individual focus and major in one of the three specialisations (study programmes: Control Engineering, Computer Engineering or Communications Engineering) or focus on a broad generalist path (study programme: no specialisation) and enjoy joint elective courses that reflect current research – from intelligent systems to industrial automation and combine the synergies of all specialisations. The programme focuses on a high degree of practical work, which is established through state-of-the-art research and development projects and an optional industrial internship. All degree programmes in the Federal state of Hesse are accredited. The CCCE MSc programme was successfully re-accredited in 2018 (accredited by ASIIN Düsseldorf) and is currently undergoing re-accreditation for the start of the 2025 winter semester."]
