About this course
The B.A. Studium Individuale at Leuphana University of Lüneburg is one of Germany's most unique liberal education programmes, giving students the freedom and responsibility to design their own tailored Bachelor's curriculum across any combination of academic disciplines.
Unlike traditional degrees, Studium Individuale has no fixed subject area. You choose your own path, guided by the questions and problems that matter most to you. Climate change, digital transformation, politics, psychology, entrepreneurship, sustainability: you can explore any topic through multiple academic lenses and combine modules from the full spectrum of Leuphana's course offerings.
The programme's intellectual backbone consists of 7 mandatory Core Modules taught in English across 6 semesters, covering:

Learning extends beyond the classroom into a close-knit community of students and faculty, with talks, workshops, excursions and student-led projects. Only 40 places are available per year. No tuition fees. Starts October each year.
