Academic Life in Leipzig – Autumn Language Course for International Researchers, Doctoral Candidates, and Students

Online placement test before the start of the course and personal oral assessment at the start

Learn in small groups (approx. 14 participants) – from level A1 to C1

Approx. 25 lessons per week, including phonetics training in individual or small group sessions

Modern textbook (included in the course fee), up-to-date materials, and access to the Moodle learning platform

Modules on academic speaking and writing

Practical explorations on the topic of "Studying and researching in Leipzig" – in cooperation with Leipzig universities and research institutions

Written and oral final exam

Acquisition of five ECTS points possible (can be credited at the home university)

Interactive cultural events with a focus on real-life regional studies – e.g. research and interviews on site
