["The GCSC study programme is designed to support you in your work on your dissertation project. The core of this programme, which aims at helping you advance and qualitatively improve your project, is the interdisciplinary research colloquium. The colloquium usually takes place fortnightly, and it gives you the opportunity to present your work every semester and to discuss it with teachers and fellow postgraduates.Two of the GCSC’s main goals are to provide you with opportunities for an interdisciplinary and international dialogue while you are working on your own research project and to enable you to gain a wide variety of additional academic qualifications. Our research areas provide the necessary framework to achieve these aims. Within these research areas, you can find an interdisciplinary context, which will support you in the development of your research interests. Together with other doctoral and postdoctoral students as well as professors, you can organise projects and events and thereby gain valuable qualifications."]
