["Module 1: Movement Science and BiomechanicsThe basis of successful coaching is an understanding of movement control and optimisation. Module 1 conveys this knowledge through two lectures: Motor Control and Learning (5 CP) and Biomechanics and Systems Theory (6 CP). The focus is on motor learning and biomechanical correlations for targeted performance enhancement.Module 2: Training and TeachingThe central topic is the Theories of Training and Their Practical Consequences lecture (5 CP), supplemented by New Media Technology in Sports (2 CP) and Sports Pedagogical Aspects in High-Performance Sports (5 CP). Module 2 combines training theory with media-supported teaching and pedagogical aspects.Module 3: Sports Psychology and MethodsMental strength is crucial in elite sport. The Sports Psychology lecture (2 CP) and the Applied Sports Psychology in High Performance Sport laboratory course (4 CP) teach strategies for mental performance. The Methodical Basis for Experimental Studies supplementary laboratory course (5 CP) provides a foundation in research and statistics.Module 4: Health, Nutrition, and PerformanceSporting performance also requires physiological and nutritional expertise. Module 4 comprises High-Performance Metabolism and Physiology (4 CP), Functional Orthopedics (4 CP) and Nutrition Strategies to Enhance Exercise Performance (2 CP). The aim is to provide comprehensive support for athletes.Module 5: Sport Management and LeadershipLeadership and organisation are closely linked to sporting success. The lectures on Organisation, Governance of World Sport and Federations (2 CP) and Managing High-Performance Sports (2 CP) examine structures in elite sport. The seminars on Innovation and Digitalisation (2 CP), Media and Communication Management (2 CP) and Leadership and Ethical Challenges in High-Performance Sports (2 CP) focus on current developments and ethical issues.Module 6: MentorshipThe focus is on the practical implementation of what has been learnt. The Internship (12 CP) provides real insights into professional practice. The Mentorship Curriculum (4 CP) promotes reflection and exchange on individual experiences and developments.Module 7: Sport Specific CoachingSport-specific training takes place in the Sport-Specific Coaching lecture (10 CP) and the courses on Sport-Specific Coaching Practical Implementation (4 CP) and Sport-Specific Coaching Theoretical Concepts (6 CP). Theory and practice are closely interlinked here – accompanied by experienced coaches.Module 8: Professional Master's ThesisFinally, students work on a scientific topic as part of the Master's thesis (25 CP).
