["TheMaster of Science in Information Systemsprogramme equips students with the analytical, technological, and strategic skills needed to drive digital innovation and lead transformation in data-driven organisations worldwide.The degree programme aims to provideresearch-based instructionin the field of Information Systems ("Wirtschaftsinformatik") as well as to develop methodological competencies. A key component of the Master’s programme is increasing the students' ability to work independently and to develop the ability to methodically and reflectively assess even novel problem situations. Students acquire the necessary skills for professional work in the field of Information Systems or in academia through in-person teaching, virtual instruction, a high proportion of self-study, and intensive research seminars and projects—both individually and in collaboration with others.The Master's programme also opens opportunities to address interdisciplinary questions.
