["Offered jointly by the FH Westküste University of Applied Sciences and HAW Hamburg, this three-semester Master’s programme focuses on the development and application of microelectronic systems—key technologies driving the energy transition and digitalisation.Graduates play a vital role in developing integrated circuits, microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), and artificial intelligence applications, especially in fields like e-mobility.A unique highlight of the programme is the strong collaboration with theFraunhofer Institute for Silicon Technology (ISIT), giving students access to one of Europe’s most advanced research environments.The combination of the two universities' core competencies engenders synergies that provide students with a superior, practice-oriented higher education and opportunities to leverage the institutions' networks of contacts with businesses and other higher education institutions outside Germany. The course is designed to equip individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to assume senior roles in management or specialised fields. 30 November – 17 February for the following summer semester Information regarding your application When applying for admission to our university, it is important to note the application deadlines. In order to be accepted, it must be clear that the applicant will complete their Bachelor's degree in a timely manner before the start of the programme. This means that the thesis must be submitted before the end of the previous semester, and a colloquium date should be set, if possible. It is also important to apply to the university that is organising the desired semester, such as applying to Hamburg for the winter semester and Heide for the summer semester. If a student is conditionally admitted with the requirement of completing 30 credits, they should still enrol at Heide.
