About this course
["The (Research) Master’s degree programme in Quantitative Economics (QE) is organised jointly by the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics and the Center for Mathematical Economics (IMW). Its quantitative analytical approach to economics provides the relevant skills to model and solve economic problems on an abstract level and to transfer the analytic solutions to real world applications. The application procedure takes place via the online application portal of Bielefeld University . Lectures and classes are geared towards starting the programme in the winter semester. You must apply online for the Master's programme (usually from 1 June). This is generally possible until 15 July. The Student Office will inform you about the current deadlines for applications . Comprehensive information on the application procedure can be found on the website of the Student Office. For applicants who need a visa: Please apply as early as possible to allow for sufficient time between your application and the start of the study programme.
